In an effort to overcome congestion in Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, the government imposed three regulations on the toll road section, odd-even license plate systems for private vehicles, the operational clocking of carrier transport vehicles (class III, IV, and V), and the enforcement of bus-specific lanes. All regulations apply at the toll gates of East Bekasi and Bekasi Barat to Jakarta, starting Monday - Friday, at 06:00 to 09:00 am, excluding holidays. This policy is expected to reduce congestion by up to 20%.
