The peak phase of the rare "ring of fire" solar eclipse (GMC) was seen in Bunsur Village in Siak Regency, Riau province, Thursday , Dec 26, 2019. The rare phenomenon of a ringed solar eclipse can only be seen in Sumatra and Kalimantan, while other areas will only be seen as a partial solar eclipse, in Jakarta a partial solar eclipse is visible with the moon's shadow covering 70% of the solar disk.
