SUROPATI GROUP DEMANDING THE NATIONALIZATION OF PT FREEPORT

Members of the group, Solidarity for Indonesian activists Movement (Suropati), carry Red and White flag during a protest action in front of the headquarters of PT Freeport Indonesia, Jakarta, Thursday, November 26, 2015. The action they did as a gesture of opposition to the plan contract extension PT Freeport and the government for the management of the gold and copper mining area in Tembagapura, Papua, which will be out of contract in 2021. They also asked the government to stop exporting of concentrate by PT Freeport, and even drove them from Indonesia and immediately nationalize the assets of PT Freeport. (JakartaBizWeekly / Aditya)
