NATIONAL FARMERS DAY COMMEMORATION IN JAKARTA > 포토뉴스

Hundreds of people from the People's Struggle Front and students held a demonstration while commemorating National Farmers' Day at a number of points in Jakarta, such as the US Embassy, the Ministry of Trade and the Presidential Palace on Monday, September 24, 2018. In the action they delivered a number of demands, including refusing the government policies regarding agrarian reform which is considered to deceive the people for corporate interests that are controlled by the imperialists through its instruments such as the IMF and the World Bank in the form of investment and debt. They also asked President Jokowi to stop importing basic commodities and optimize domestic production. (JakartaBizWeekly/Aditya)
