The Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo gave information to the media regarding the results of the Bank Indonesia Board of Governors' Meeting at the Bank Indonesia office, Jakarta, Thursday, November 15, 2018. In his statement, Bank Indonesia on November 14-15, 2018, decided to raise BI 7-day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) of 25 bps to 6.00%, Deposit Facility interest rate of 25 bps to 5.25%, and Lending Facility interest rate of 25 bps to 6.75%, where the decision is a continued step by Bank Indonesia in an effort to reduce the current account deficit to a safe level.
