Artist from South Korea, Song Seung Jin, along with his artwork entitled "Culture Village Project" in the ASEAN-ROK Contemporary Art Exhibition held at Edwin's Gallery, Kemang, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Inspired from a residential area in Busan, Gamcheon village, which was first established by refugees of the Korean War in 1950 that became a symbol of memory collective and poverty in Korea, Sung through his work, reinterpreting the village that was once considered 'distopis' has been transformed into space culturally 'utopian' that attract many visitors from around the world.
