JONAN LIFT BAN ON TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS BASED ONLINE APPLICATION

Jonan prohibit the operation of transport services based on online applications for violating the law No. 22 of 2009 and Government Regulation No. 74 of 2014 on Road Transport, which states that "Public transport provision is to be a minimum of three-wheeler, a legal entity and has an operating license for public transport". However, based on the reality in society which still indicates a disparity between the needs of public transport with the ability to provide mass transit a viable and adequately, finally Jonan decided to lift the ban and allow transportation services based on online applications remain in operation until the government is able to provide transportation needs a viable and adequately for the public.
