Thousands of workers gathered and rallied in Jakarta on International Labour Day commemorates otherwise known as  "May day " on Tuesday, may 1, 2018. This year may be, they are demanding the Government to pay more attention to the welfare of workers and their families, stop the practice of cheap wages, outsourcing and eliminating the internship and work system which is considered the only harm workers, because with that system, the workers are not entitled to full compliance with existing regulations. Not only the problems of the workers, they also criticized the Government that does not favour the poor, by raising fuel prices and electricity tariffs caused a rise in the price of basic necessities, and the burdensome cost of living the poor.
