Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or known "Ahok" and his lawyers team read out the pledoi on the charges of the public prosecutor demanding the sentence of 1 year jail with 2 years probation for the alleged blasphemy of Islam in his twentieth trial at the North Jakarta State Court, Tuesday, April 7, 2017. In reading the pledoi, Basuki's lawyers believe that based on evidence and witnesses, his client does not intend to blaspheme Islam, and asks the judge to release Basuki from punishment.
