Vice chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council, Ma'ruf Amin (center), accompanied by MUI and scholars as well as representatives of Islamic organizations deliver statement Tolikara MUI-related incidents, Papua, in Jakarta, Wednesday (22/07). Responding to the dissolution of the assembly as well as the incidence of burning stores and a mosque during Eid al-Fitr (Friday, July 22, 2015) by congregation of the Gospel Church in Indonesia (GIDI) in Tolikara, Papua, MUI condemn all forms of violence against Muslims and urged the Muslims to refrain and calls for inter-religious peace in Papua.
