Thousands of Muslims from various organizations held a demonstration in front of the House of Representatives, Jakarta on Friday, September 29, 2017. They urged parliament to revoke the Government Regulation on mass organizations considered as a government tool to ban Islamic organizations. This is seen as proving that the government is against Islam, as well as the Communist ideology that in the past had committed the massacre of the Ulama.
