In terms of sexual violence against children, decreased 17 points, from 105 cases in the first half of 2015, to 88 cases in the second half, and in the case of physical violence decreased 18 points, from 100 cases in the first half of 2015, to 82 cases in the second half. The decline of violence against children, particularly in the last 3 months of 2015 (October-December), according KPAI, was influenced by the discourse of the government to provide weighting penalties for perpetrators of crimes against children, such as the discussion on formation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) of Castration Punishment for perpetrators of sexual crimes against children.
