The decline of violence against children, particularly in the last 3 months of 2015 (October-December), according KPAI, was influenced by the discourse of the government to provide weighting penalties for perpetrators of crimes against children, such as the discussion on formation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) of Castration Punishment for perpetrators of sexual crimes against children.
