Indonesian muslims pray at Luar Batang mosque, North Jakarta, Jakarta, April 09, 2016. Luar Batang mosque is one of the oldest mosque in Jakarta, located at the Luar Batang village in the Pasar Ikan (Fish Market) area, next to the Sunda Kelapa old harbour. The mosque was build in 1739 by Sayid Husein bin Abubakar of the Abdillah al-Idrus, a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad through his daughter Fatimah and later buried there in 1756. Jakarta Government will not demolish the mosque related to the demolishing houses plans in that area, as part of the rivers and coastal normalization program. (JakartaBizWeekly/Aditya)
