Officers feed one Sumatran elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus), which will be relocated while resting after traveling 24 hours from Indra Giri Hulu, Riau toward Jambi, Thursday (10/11). The parties of Conservation of Natural Resources (BKSDA) Jambi, along with some locals wildlife observer organizations will relocate an young male Sumatran elephant from Bukit Tigapuluh National Park in Jambi, which was found to roam up Riau province, to the Hutan Harapan (Hope Forest) area in Sarolangun, Jambi to avoid the possibility of conflict with humans and at the same time bringing it close to the group's.
